This stuff is personal! Can we talk first to see if we are a good fit?
IT DEPENDS. At times my schedule is completely full, and the only way I can meet with potential new clients is by booking a paid 50 minute session. I strive to keep some time free for brief introductory calls for people who feel like an excellent fit for my practice, but I always have time to answer your email!
Let me know via email the issues you would like to work on in as much detail as you are comfortable with. I will reply within 24 hours (if you reach out between Tuesday and Saturday) and either we can set up a time for a 10-15 minute conversation, book an appointment, or if my practice is completely full, I will send a list of referral sources for you to explore.
Scroll to the bottom of this page for all of my contact information or visit my Contact page . If you’ve read enough and are ready to make an appointment now, just let me know. I will send you a link that will allow you to book yourself at our earliest mutual convenience!
Who do you work with?
I work with adults who are both partnered and single. My specialty is with Queer relationships, LGBTQ+, unconventional lifestyles, and people exploring the intersection of sexuality and spirituality.
The bulk of my clients come for concerns around low libido or differences in desire, healing from infidelity, erectile concerns, and healing from negative body image. At any given time about 75% of my practice is supporting couples, but I love working with individuals too.
I have a background in creating Spiritual Community and intensive training in consciousness practice and Eastern Tantric philosophies.
Spiritual Direction that embraces sexuality and is safe, respectful of boundaries, and empowering is rare. I help people heal from wounds inflicted by Spiritual teachers and can help you regain your sovereignty and sexual wholeness. Please contact me directly to speak about this part of my practice. How do we work together?
As your coach, I’m your personal sex educator, shame exterminator, cheerleader, confidante, empathy expert, and in many cases, practice partner.
Our work may include talking about your sexual history, learning about anatomy and arousal, expanding your capacity to ask for what you want, increasing your capacity to feel pleasure, practicing the skills of sexual communication, learning to empathize with your partner, training in intimate conflict resolution, finding and defining your boundaries…
What most people don’t know about intimacy could fill volumes! Incredible energy is released when you commit to learning more. We will find your growing edges and gently, lovingly train your capacities. We will explore what you truly desire so you can get the kind of erotic connection you want, and learn how to keep the energy alive!
We will excavate the places where shame hides and pull it out by its roots. This will leave more space for YOU.
I’m not a licensed psychotherapist; I’m a Clinical Sexologist and a results-oriented Intimacy and Sex Coach. Our work together will be practical, and focused on your sexual health, wellbeing, and pleasure. You get to fully relax into deep support and real time skill development, rather than psychological analysis.
Here is the #1 question that most everyone wants to ask about my Intimacy Coaching Practice, and some brave souls actually do…
Do you watch your clients have sex?
Boy, I really want to drag this out. Because this question hides so much fear and confusion that surrounds intimacy in general, not just sex therapy. People think that intimacy is about sex. That is a tragically limited view of intimacy. And it will negatively impact your sex life!
Intimacy is about truth. When you can share your truth with another and experience theirs, all without the need for anything to be different, this is intimacy. It’s about wanting to be close more than wanting things to be a certain way. Unfortunately, this is rare.
There is a vast world of deeply satisfying feels we keep at arms-length because we aren’t comfortable being close to one another. As you become more comfortable feeling feelings, even the uncomfortable ones, your ability to give and receive all sorts of love (including physical love) will grow.
So, to answer the question… No, you don’t have to have sex in front of me to learn sexual skills. It would get in the way of my deeper intention. I want you to expand your capacity for connection and pleasure. That way you can bring more aliveness and primal energy into all your relationships, not just the sexual ones… but especially the sexual ones.
So, what will we do?
For some, just talking to a person who is an intimacy and sexuality specialist is a profoundly transformative thing. Ultimately, you are in charge of this process. And there are ways I can support you that your therapist cannot. My training is focused on adult sexuality, sexual relationship, and somatics. Somatics is simply a fancy word for understanding how the body plays a role in our feelings.
Your body, its desires and responses, will guide us. We will talk about all the things you may have always wanted to talk about, or may have always been nervous to talk about! I will take you on guided journeys into your own experiences and desires. I can help you to increase your capacity to feel pleasure.
Sometimes we may create projects for you to take on between sessions, like homework.
You never have to do anything just because I suggest it. Finding your boundaries and learning to assert them is part of the growth process. As is speaking your desire.
And for most people, having companionship on this journey is the “special sauce” that creates the healing. Haven’t you had enough time on your own with these challenges?
We can do this together!
You mention Tantra. Do I have to believe anything to work with you?
I have no religious agenda. You do not need to believe in anything for us to work together. You don’t even need to believe anything to benefit from the life-affirming, sex-positive worldview of Tantra. But I’m happy to keep spirituality out of it, if you like.
